Virtuoso violinist Max Baillie is celebrated for his creativity and versatility, bringing an extraordinary range of styles to life through his performances. A graduate of the Yehudi Menuhin School and Christ’s College, Cambridge, Max’s artistry spans centuries and genres, captivating audiences worldwide.
For this special solo recital, Max draws on his deep expertise to present Bach to Beyond!, showcasing the violin’s limitless potential. From the timeless elegance of Bach’s suites and the fiery virtuosity of Ysaye’s “Ballade” to his own innovative compositions, Max transforms the violin into a symphony of sounds, weaving together tradition and innovation.

Edith Pageaud’s extraordinary musical journey began at the age of seven, when she first picked up the guitar and quickly became a child prodigy, winning numerous national competition prizes by the age of nine. At just 14, she graduated with a Diplôme d’Études Musicales in classical guitar from the prestigious Paris CRR under Gérard Abiton, cementing her place among the rising stars of her generation.
Pageaud’s technical brilliance and expressive depth have earned her top honors on the international stage, including first prizes at the Drome de Guitares competition in 2022, the Roland Dyens International Competition in 2023, and the Florence International Guitar Competition Alvaro Company in Italy.
Today, Pageaud continues to inspire audiences worldwide while also sharing her expertise as a classical guitar teacher at a Conservatoire in France. Alongside her performances, she arranges piano repertoire by composers such as Rachmaninov, Scriabin, and Brahms.

Grisha is one of the few guitarists reviving the tradition of solo flamenco guitar in concert, a practice once mastered by legends like Ramón Montoya and Sabicas.

Hailed by Rhythms Magazine as “a sonic tapestry that is just breathtaking,” his music is praised for its universal and timeless appeal.

Stephanie Jones’ childhood resonated with the sound of music from a very young age. She played many instruments, beginning with the piano and progressing to the violin, viola, saxophone, and flute. However, it was the guitar, with its captivating range of sounds and remarkable versatility, that captured her imagination and became her first love—a love that would shape her future and establish her as one of the world’s leading classical guitarists.
An Australian virtuoso now based in Germany, Stephanie has earned both a Master’s and a Konzertexamen degree from the prestigious University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar. She has won numerous awards in prestigious competitions, including first prize at the Hannabach Guitar Competition, Uppsala International Guitar Festival Competition, and Fine Music Network Young “Virtuoso of the Year” Competition.

Xuefei Yang is acclaimed as one of the world’s finest classical guitarists. Hailed as a musical pioneer – her fascinating journey began after the Cultural Revolution, a period where Western musical instruments & music were banned. Xuefei was the first-ever guitarist in China to enter a music school, & became the first internationally recognised Chinese guitarist on the world stage.
Her first public appearance was at the age of ten and received such acclaim that the Spanish Ambassador in China presented her with a concert guitar. Her debut in Madrid at the age of 14 was attended by the composer Joaquín Rodrigo and, when John Williams heard her play, he gave two of his own instruments to Beijing’s Central Conservatoire especially for her and other advanced students.

Hi there! And welcome! I’m Michael MacManus, CEO and founder of Concert Events Global.
I am a former classical guitarist (Master degree in music performance) who now works full time as a concert promoter.
I started organising concerts as a hobby back in 2012 while I was studying classical guitar performance at Melbourne University, Australia.
As a student, I wanted to learn from visiting artists and see them in concert, so whenever I heard a great guitarist was visiting Australia I made it my mission to make sure they came and played in Melbourne.
This grew organically over the years, and turned into a yearly guitar festival, then a national concert series.
Now I live in South Korea with my wife and two sons (5yrs and 3yrs), and I maintain a very busy concert schedule with events in America, Australia and the UK!
For the time being, you will notice our programming is VERY guitar heavy…. It’s what I know and love! We will be adding more genres in the future, but hopefully my backstory gives you an insight into why we feature so much guitar.
My guarantee to you: We will only ever present the world’s greatest artists in concert. You will experience something truly unforgettable at all of our concerts.
We also strive to break down barriers between performers and audiences. Although our events are respectful listening environments, we do want you to feel relaxed and experience a true connection with our artists. You will always have the opportunity to meet our performers after the concert, where you can ask questions and have a photo together.
Finally, we want our events to be ACCESSIBLE for all! This is why we offer heavily discounted early bird tickets to ALL of our concerts! So please book early to ensure you can take advantage of our cheaper tickets!
